POP Boudoir FAQs: Let’s Get You Some Damn Answers.
Boudoir photography for women, men, and couples in Powdersville, serving Greenville and the Upstate of South Carolina.
Thinking about booking but have approximately 47 questions, a little nervous sweat, and no idea what to do with your hands? Babe, you’re in the right place. Hi. I’m Shana, your photographer and personal hype woman. Here’s what you need to know before stepping in front of my camera…
Where can I book Men’s Boudoir near Greenville?
Right here at POP Boudoir! Duh. Our private studio is in Powdersville, South Carolina, serving Greenville and the surrounding Upstate.
Men deserve photographs that make them feel confident, attractive, and completely themselves, too. Your session can be relaxed, bold, sensual, playful, or a little of everything. We’ll talk about the look you want and plan around your comfort. No six-pack required. No modeling résumé needed. Bring yourself. I’ll handle the camera and the direction.
Does POP Boudoir welcome LGBTQ+ individuals and couples?
Abso-fucking-lutely. LGBTQ+ individuals and couples are welcome here, including gay, lesbian, bisexual, queer, trans, and nonbinary clients.
You deserve to feel respected and celebrated without having to explain or defend who you are or who you love. We’ll talk about your names, pronouns, preferences, and boundaries so your session feels personal and comfortable. Come as you are, love who you love, and let’s make some beautiful art.
Can I book a Boudoir session without sharing my photos publicly?
Umm…YEAH!!! Booking a session does not mean agreeing to become an advertisement.
You can keep your photographs private. Public sharing is optional and requires your permission. Tell me your preferences (Full, Partial, Anonymous, None), and we’ll make sure they’re clearly documented.
You do not owe the internet access to your body. These photographs can be just for you. You can trust me with your nudes, my love.
How much does a POP Boudoir session cost?
Our individual session fee is $250, and our couples session fee is $350.
The full-session experience includes professional hair and makeup, up to 2.5 hours of photography, access to our client closet in sizes XS–4X, preparation support, and guided posing.
Final photographs and products are selected through your collection or product order. Clients typically invest $1,200–$2,000 in their final images and products.
Before you book, we’ll review the session fee, collection options, and how your total is calculated so you understand the investment. Ask every money question you need to ask. Your budget deserves respect, too.
Are payment plans available?
Yes! In-house payment plans are available, and we can discuss the current options before you book.
We’ll go over the payment schedule, due dates, and any requirements that apply to your order. You deserve to understand what you’re committing to. Luxury photographs are lovely. Knowing what’s coming out of your bank account is also lovely.
Will someone help me pose if I’ve never done this?
Every step of the way. You do not need to know your angles, practice a seductive face, or arrive knowing where to put your left elbow.
I’ll guide your positioning, expression, and movement throughout the session. We can adjust poses to suit your body, mobility, and comfort.
Your job is to show up and communicate with me. My job is to help you look good while making the whole thing feel a lot less intimidating.
Do I have to get naked?
Absolutely not. Boudoir does not come with a mandatory level of undress.
You can wear lingerie, underwear, a robe, a shirt, a suit jacket, or another outfit that fits your vision. More revealing photographs are a choice, never a requirement.
Your boundaries are yours. You can also change your mind during the session. Consent does not clock out once the camera comes on.
Is hair and makeup included?
Professional hair and makeup are included in our full-session experience.
We’ll discuss your preferences while planning. Tell me whether you love glam, prefer a softer look, or have questions about what would feel right for you.
For men’s sessions, we’ll discuss your grooming and styling preferences, too. Nobody is getting assigned a look they didn’t ask for.
Mini sessions and special offers may have different inclusions, so check the details of the specific session you’re booking.

What if I’m nervous or don’t feel confident?
Then you’re allowed to arrive nervous. Confidence is not an admission requirement.
We’ll talk, take things at a comfortable pace, and start with guidance. You can ask questions, request a break, or tell me when something doesn’t feel right.
You don’t need to perform fearlessness for me. A shaky “I think I want to try this” is a perfectly good place to start.
Can I book a couples boudoir session?
Yes! Couples sessions celebrate your connection, whether your vibe is tender, playful, romantic, sensual, or delightfully unable to stop giggling.
We’ll discuss what each person feels comfortable with before photographing you together. Both people’s boundaries matter throughout the session.
You do not need matching confidence levels or synchronized sexy faces. We’ll work with your real connection.
Can I book maternity or postpartum boudoir?
Yes. Maternity and postpartum clients are welcome.
Tell me about any comfort needs, movement limitations, or breaks you may need so we can plan accordingly. If you have medical restrictions, follow your healthcare professional’s guidance and let me know what adjustments would help.
You do not need to “bounce back” to deserve photographs of yourself.
What if I have a disability, limited mobility, sensory needs, or another concern?
Please reach out before booking so we can discuss your needs and what the studio can accommodate.
That might include positioning adjustments, breaks, communication preferences, or concerns about accessing the space. I’ll be honest about what’s possible so you can make an informed decision.
You are welcome to ask for what you need. You never have to apologize for it.
How far in advance should I book?
Reach out as soon as you have a date or deadline in mind, especially if your photographs are for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or holiday gift.
We need to allow time for the session, image selection, editing, and any product production. I’ll help you work backward from your deadline based on current availability.
Last-minute magic is fun. Giving your album time to actually arrive is even better.
Do I need a partner or special occasion to book?
No. You are a whole occasion.
You can book to celebrate a milestone, create a gift, explore a different side of yourself, or simply because you want beautiful photographs.
“For me” is a complete reason.
Can I ask questions before committing?
Please do. You’re welcome to reach out about pricing, privacy, outfits, the experience, or anything else that would help you decide.
An inquiry is a conversation, not a commitment. You deserve clear answers and room to decide whether POP Boudoir feels right for you.
How do I book?
Start by sending an inquiry through our contact page. Tell me whether you’re interested in an individual or couples session, your preferred dates, and any deadline you’re working toward.
We’ll talk through the experience, pricing, and next steps. Your date is reserved once the required booking payment and paperwork are completed.
You bring the questions. I’ll bring the answers, the kindness, and a very enthusiastic amount of hype.
